Oktoberfest Festivities 2018

Saturday, September 22nd

Bavarian Village Band performing in the Bier Hall from 4-7pm

Masskrugstemmen (Stein Holding Contest) at 7pm – To play, a competitor holds a 1 liter Stein filled with their choice of Oktoberfest draft beer with one arm, completely stretched out in front of them and parallel to the floor. The person who can hold the stein the longest will be declared the winner and receive a $50 Rhein Haus gift card and Oktoberfest t-shirt.

Thursday, September 27th

Reuben’s Brews Pig & Pint Night featuring their Crikey IPA and Festbier. The kitchen is roasting a full pig and serving it with two sides and a pint of the featured beer for $17 from 5:30-7:30pm. We’ll be hosting a fun Oktoberfest hammer log game (each player receives a nail and swing the hammer with one continuous swing per turn. If the nail is not driven flush into the log they pass the hammer to the next player. The first player to get their nail flush into the log wins the game and some Rueben’s swag)

Saturday, September 29th

The Bavarian Village Band is performing in the Bier Hall from 5-8pm

Saturday, October 6th

An eating and drinking contest now in it’s 4th year! Rhein Haus will donate $250 to the charity of choice of the winning team!
At 5pm, Jürgen Knöller from Bayern Brewing will be tapping a celebratory Firkin keg of Bayern Oktoberfest bier in the Biergarten
